Naked Bear Blue Tansy Oil Roll-On
The same blue oil, in a roller you can carry. Blue Tansy Oil Roll-On pairs Moroccan blue tansy with Japanese camellia and squalane in a 10 ml bottle with a stainless steel ball — for the spots that flush, sting, or go red on you.
That blue isn't a dye. It's azulene, a compound that forms when Tanacetum annuum flowers are steam-distilled, and it's why blue tansy has been prized for centuries as one of the gentlest botanicals you can put on skin. Camellia and squalane carry it at a skin-safe strength, so it's ready to use straight from the bottle.
Patch test before first use, especially if you react to ragweed or daisies. Keep away from eyes. For external use only.
A cousin of chamomile.
The only oil we dilute.
Every other Naked Bear oil is a single ingredient at full strength. Blue tansy can't be. Pure blue tansy essential oil is far too concentrated to press onto a face — used neat, it's an irritant, not a treatment.
Most sellers hand you the raw oil and leave the math to you. We do the dilution ourselves, in camellia seed oil and squalane, at a concentration meant for daily facial use. Nothing to blend, nothing to guess at.
Known as tsubaki in Japan, where it's been a beauty staple for centuries. Roughly 80% oleic acid, with a molecular weight close to your own sebum, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting.
A stable form of squalene, a lipid your skin already makes — it accounts for around 13% of human sebum. It sinks in rather than slicking.
The active. Steam-distilled Tanacetum annuum from Morocco, and the reason the bottle is indigo.
